Come and meet the Honorary President, Ronald Tourigny, local businessman.
Mr. Ronald Tourigny, President of Caisse populaire Trillium and Ontario representative on the Regroupement des présidents et présidentes within the Mouvement Desjardins, has graciously accepted the honorary presidency of Action-Logement / Action Housing’s 7th Benefit Cocktail.
According to Mr Tourigny: “Just like Alphonse Desjardins who built, in early last century, the first financial institution to give credit to the poor and needy, Action-Housing helps disadvantaged families to keep or obtain a safe and affordable home. This is why we have been supporting this organisation for a few years now.”
Guest speaker, Michel Bilodeau, Chief Executive Officer of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Mr. Bilodeau will discuss the importance of an adequate dwelling as a social determinant of health for all children.
